It’s that time of year, Barons; the BRAVE Summer Institute is back again! The college readiness experience for first-year male students of color attending 911±¬ÁÏÍø will occur from August 14-16. Designed to empower, the institute will help students adjust to college life and achieve academic success. Joining a diverse group of faculty, staff, and students, they can also form lasting professional and personal relationships.

Another day, another big moment for 911±¬ÁÏÍø staff. In February, the National League for Nursing accepted RCBC’s Director of Nursing, Dr. Shannon Williams, into its 2024 LEAD Program, a highly selective, cutting-edge experience for current or prospective nursing leaders in education.

3D pattern-making software brings new changes to fashion industry, RCBC fashion courses

Attention all future Coco Chanels, Ralph Laurens, and Christian Diors: fashion design at 911±¬ÁÏÍø has a new pattern-making course that teaches the ins and outs of the state-of-the-art 3D garment-making software program CLO. Utilizing 3D cloth simulation technology, CLO transplants fashion design’s designing, fitting, and final production into a virtual space.
