This is a hands-on workshop where students learn about the various sections of the Common App. Participants will set up a Common App account. Other important topics covered include how to avoid common pitfalls in completing the app, qualifications for fee waivers, how to order transcripts, how to identify the appropriate school officials needed to complete the Common App, and important transfer deadlines.

Expand your future possibilities! In this workshop, students are introduced to the unique landscape of selective institutions and learn more about them. Students will explore the benefits of selective schools, review the additional application requirements, and learn to navigate potentially scary price tags.

In this hands-on student workshop, you will reflect on and capture your needs as a student through a transfer questionnaire. With these needs in mind, learn about different types of bachelor-granting schools (research university, liberal arts college, public vs. private, etc) and other factors to consider when making a plan to transfer. By the end of the workshop, you will have a tentative list of schools and a list of questions to ask receiving institutions

911±¬ÁÏÍø's College Acceleration Program (CAP) allows students to earn college credit while simultaneously completing their high school coursework. These courses are taught at the high school by certified teachers who have been approved as RCBC adjunct faculty members. Course eligibility does vary by high school.
